This section provides you with a football training program for young players ages 6 through 15 years.
Each week football practice should feature fun and progressive Football Drills and culminate with a small-sided football game. You should have a full training programme in place before you take on students.
Emphasis should be on the continued development of fundamental skills for and careful consideration should be given to prioritise the most relevant football techniques to master at this age level.
Main topics you should train include football passing drills, football skill drills with additional shooting, dribbling, ball control and heading animated drills
Remember to make training fun; do not make the
game too difficult or competetive at this point. Team building should
be a big aim of training purposes.
A good place to test your fitness after training is by doing something that would be outside your normal routine. One of the recommended routes is to organise a mountain climb. This will show you your fitness level and allow you to learn many new skills.
